SAFF 2007 was attended by 7500-8000 people - and truly awesome.

Be sure and mark your calendars for SAFF 2008:
Friday, October 24th (9a-6p)
Saturday, October 25th (9a-6p) &
Sunday, October 26th (9a-4p)

The event is located at the WNC Ag. Center, in Fletcher, NC, across Hwy 280 from the Asheville Regional Airport. (Exit 40 off I-26).

Admission will be $3/person. Youth under 13 yrs. old will be free.

2008 Workshops are now available for registration! This year Chad Alice Hagen will be offering two all-day hat workshops instead of one. SAFF is the only place Chad teaches her hat workshops in the United States, so don't miss this great opportunity! - Sock Lovers, know that we will have Charlene Schurch here! Her classes are limited to 15-20 students, so sign up soon! - We are proud to announce that Margaret Heathman is back with more of her great spinning and knitting workshops. - We are also offering a broader curriculum for weaving workshops in 2008, with introductory classes, and Geri Forkner's day and a half class on Plain Weave Revisited... Look for more weaving classes by the end of May, if not sooner. - A few other new classes will be added as well, so be sure to check in with us from time to time!

For more than 10 years workshops prices have been $10/hr. This year they have been increase to $12/hr. - However, SAFF Members will continue to pay the $10/hr. fee. If you would like to become a member of SAFF, CLICK HERE.

New in 2008:
The Alpaca Organization will be located in the Blue Barn (next to the McGough Arena), offering presentations and displaying alpacas.
The Sales Arena will house more vendors and the Fleece Show & Sale will also be over there!!!
